Our Purpose
Cavalier Baptist Church exists to shine our light before others, so they may see the good thing we do through Christ, and to praise our Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 CEV
Church Covenant
Having been led by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our savior and on the profession of faith having been baptized in the name of the Father, and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do in the presence of God, angels and, this assembly enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
We endeavor by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this Church; to promote its spirituality and prosperity; to sustain its worship, doctrines, ordinances and discipline; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to support of the ministry, expenses of the church, relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel through all nations.
We endeavor to maintain family and private devotions, to educate our children scripturally and to live Godly lives in conformity to the scriptures. Being mindful of the teachings of our Savior, to watch over one another in brotherly love, remember each other in prayer, aid each other in sickness and distress, to be slow to take offense and always ready for reconciliation.
We endeavor by constant outreach to seek the salvation of the unsaved, the discipleship of believers and the revival of Christians.
